Faculty & Leadership Development Expert
Katie Sheketoff is an international development and leadership development professional with over 13 years experience building capacity of individuals and organizations around the world. She has designed and led leadership and management trainings for managers, government officials, and civil society leaders in Rwanda, Egypt, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Chile, Colombia, US, and UK, for USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Teach For All. Most recently, at Teach For All, she designed and led a comprehensive manager and leadership development program, including creating an 8 part manager training curriculum and facilitating around 20 virtual and in-person management and leadership trainings. Katie has a master’s degree in International Development Studies from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in International Politics.
Faculty & Leadership Development Expert
Rachel An is an organizational development expert with a background in education. She was a classroom teacher earlier in her career in both the public and private sectors, both in the USA and in Korea. Rachel completed her Master’s in International Business at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. She has consulted for USAID and Winrock International in entrepreneurship and international development. Rachel has also led workshops for international organizations such as the World Bank and Devex. Her passion for education drives her quest to develop more human-centered and equitable leaders that can spearhead organizational change. Her areas of expertise are in design thinking, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
Faculty & Emotional Intelligence Expert
Lena Cohen has dedicated her life to helping others find happiness, peace, and success. She’s an internationally known and requested TED Speaker, decorated community activist, highly sought after executive coach, and author of two life changing books; “Stop, Drop, and Roll” and “EQ and You.” As a Masters Level Clinician & Corporate Trainer, Lena counsels people on how to access, understand, and regulate their emotions; by developing a heightened sense of self-awareness to achieve emotional intelligence.
Lena has acquired such a high level of emotional intelligence from her past experience working in the fast pace, demanding news rooms of CBS; working on the number one television news magazine show in the country. She also attributes a vast amount of her knowledge and growth to a host of life difficulties which she outlines in her TEDTalk. She uses that experience to help people focus on self-development, advancement, and fulfillment in their careers and in their personal lives. She does this while also placing a high value on things like happiness, peace, and fulfillment. Still promoting a life of balance, which includes satisfaction in the areas of physical health, relationships, mental wellness, and spirituality.
In addition to her professional career as a speaker & trainer, Lena runs her nonprofit “Women Operating in Opulence,” works with Assemblywoman Tucker carrying out important issues of the community, and contributes to National Sales Network NJ/NY Chapter as a Board Member and Philanthropy Chair. As a result Lena has been awarded and recognized nationally and internationally for her efforts in serving others.
Faculty & Experiential Education Expert
Nick Brzezinski is an intercultural facilitator, interviewer, content creator, trainer, host, producer, speaker, and idea generator. He is passionate about utilizing and cultivating the skills essential to healthy, effective personal and organizational development with experiential approaches. He enjoys co-creating various forms of learning journeys, toward cultivating curiosity and creativity in the daily. He has an M.A. in Intercultural Leadership and Management from The School for International Training (SIT), and a B.A. in Religion from Duke University.
Board Member & Diversity & Inclusion Expert
Anita Nahal, Ph.D, Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), is a Historian, Professor, Administrator, Diversity & Inclusion and Unconscious Bias Practitioner, Poet, Flash Fiction Writer, and Author. Currently, Nahal is an Adjunct Professor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington DC. Some of Nahal’s former positions include: Mellon Fellowship Program Administrator, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture; Assistant Provost for International Programs, Howard University, Washington D.C.; Visiting Associate Professor of History at the State University of New York at Binghamton, New York; and Associate Professor of History, Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, India. She has been a Visiting Scholar, Beatrice Bain Research Group on Gender, University of California at Berkeley, Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence, State University of New York at Binghamton, and an NEH Summer Seminar Award winner. Besides two academic books, Nahal has one book of poems (Initiations – 1988), three children’s books, and over thirty articles in journals and blogs. She writes periodically on LinkedIn. Nahal’s most recent data-oriented study on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity at HBCUs was published as a chapter in a book in 2015. Her recent poems and flash fiction can be found in Aberration Labyrinth, Better Than Starbucks, Confluence, aaduna, River Poets Journal, and Colere. She received an Honorable Mention in the Concrete Wolf 2017 chapbook competition. Nahal is working on her first novella, and a collection of flash fiction. Nahal is the daughter of well-known Indian novelist, Chaman Nahal, and an educationist, Sudarshna Nahal.

Sandra Isabel Correia is an award-winning entrepreneur who is the third generation owner of her family’s leading company in the cork industry, Novacortiça, S.A. It was her curiosity and perseverance that led her to create her own company, Pelcor®, a Portuguese brand that turns cork into fashionable products. With Pelcor®, Sandra was an innovator within the cork industry globally, and in 2016, Sandra sold Pelcor® and now dedicates her life to coaching and mentoring other entrepreneurs as well as to teaching mindfulness. Sandra has consecutively won many awards for her achievements, especially for being the Best Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Portugal, across Europe, and in the USA.
Currently, Sandra is a leading transformation mentor, who supports entrepreneurs with business strategy, holistic wellness, and mindset mastery for their lives and businesses. She created her own corporate program “Mindfulness Motivation” that she shares with various companies and she is often invited as a speaker in conferences worldwide. In 2018. Lisa Mae Brunson is a Creative Visionary, Speaker, Author and Social Innovator that is committed to impacting humanity on a global scale. She was named Long Beach Post’s 2016 “40 Under 40” Winner, and she is a Commissioner on the Commission for Technology and Innovation for the City of Long Beach. She has cultivated the “Art of Fearless Asking” to “magically manifest” her visions into reality.
Lisa Mae is the Founder and CEO of Wonder Women Tech, a global conference platform highlighting, celebrating, and educating women and diversity in STEAM, and has launched Junior Innovation Camps for underprivileged kids. She is the Founder of two hackathons: Hacks 4 Humanity, a hackathon for social good, and Wonder Women Hacks, a hackathon to address challenges facing women and girls. She received a three-year commitment from the City of Long Beach to host the Women Women Tech Conference from 2016-2018 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

Dr. Akinola Babatunde

As a visionary leader, capacity building tutor, and personal development expert, Akinola Babatunde is gifted in transferring useful knowledge to his audience via academic teaching, motivation and inspiration on social, business and religious platforms. He has a mandate to transform the lives of young people positively with relevant practical information, and he has, over the years done that in a highly skillful manner in conferences and meetings.
With a strong background in Electrical Engineering, he is currently pursuing an Energy Systems Engineering PhD in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with core research interest in solar photovoltaic systems and renewable energy. He is an excellent researcher and presently works as a lecturer in Cyprus International University. His pursuit of excellence and passion for the academia has made him a beneficiary of international scholarships.
In addition to his career in the academia, he has actively served in several leadership positions for over 15 years, both professionally and in voluntary organizations. He has a very strong business and financial acumen, which is gradually finding its way to the limelight. These business skills were further fuelled by his 4-year service in the banking industry as a full time employee.
He is a counselor, a life coach, and a mentor to several young people – a part of his life he considers as a special calling. He is popularly known as PROF, a brand name that defines him as POISED, RESOLUTE, OBLIGING, and FASTIDIOUS.
